Sophia is a true blessing. She helped me and my 16-year-old cat with so much compassion and expertise during the worst possible situation. And no matter how painful it was to let my beloved furball go, it was the best way I could have wished for, at home in familiar surroundings. I never would have expected her to actually check in on me the very next day. Dear Sophia, you are simply the BEST!!!!

Our cat Jamie stepped into a rodent trap and completely mangled his hind paw. Sophia was the only one willing to take care of him in the middle of the night. Our cat is very fearful of strangers and had become extremely aggressive due to the pain. However, she managed to treat the wound superbly. Ultimately, the paw had to be partially amputated, which Sophia saw and said immediately while bandaging it. She is empathetic, competent, very professional, and surprisingly kind and patient at that hour. I can highly recommend her. I read in the other comments that there's discussion about costs... Ridiculous... there are very clear guidelines and fee schedules according to the veterinary billing regulations. Sophia does everything correctly. She even forgot to send us the bill 😅 it only arrived two months later... but I think she knew that a veterinary clinic had charged a four-figure sum... So a special thank you for that... At 8 p.m., I called the veterinary practice during their emergency hours because my dog ​​had a scrape and I wanted an opinion on whether immediate action was necessary. The call lasted less than a minute—and was incredibly rude. The veterinarian on the phone was extremely impolite and condescending. I explicitly stated that I wasn't looking for a diagnosis over the phone, but simply a brief, routine consultation and some initial steps I could take at home. Instead, I was dismissed disrespectfully and then simply hung up on. It's absolutely incomprehensible how anyone could treat people this way when they're worried about their pet. A minimum level of courtesy should be a given, especially in emergency situations. Fortunately, I was able to reach another practice afterward, where I received friendly and competent advice immediately. I would definitely never contact this practice again—their behavior was simply unacceptable and only made the situation worse.

We took our injured cat to Ms. Gerth, and I can't thank her enough. She took her time with us, calmed us down immediately, and completely eased my anxiety. You can tell right away that she truly cares about animals. Thank you again for the wonderful help and quick support. Highly recommended. 🌸
