Reviews
My Norwegian Forest Cat had been suffering from health problems for a long time. Unfortunately, previous treatments had been unsuccessful. However, after the first treatment with Dr. Bergfeld, my cat is feeling much better. We are very grateful to the veterinarian for her help.
Not recommended. We took our 15-week-old Labrador puppy to this vet in September 2021 for the first and last time. The vet was completely unsympathetic to us as pet owners and to the puppy, showing no love for animals whatsoever. Payment was only accepted in cash on site. The advice we received was also inadequate – mostly just a lot of unnecessary chatter. We immediately switched vets to one in Giessen for our next visit and are now very happy there. We strongly advise against going to this vet. It's a shame – pet owners and their animals shouldn't be treated this way.
Ms. Bergfeld spayed my cat Luna. After the surgery, she developed stomach problems and refused to eat or drink. Ms. Bergfeld was incredibly helpful and gave me excellent advice, which ultimately led to her eating again. What's also very commendable about Ms. Bergfeld is that she's always there for her little patients, even on Sundays. She even called to check on Luna because she was worried she might be unavailable. I haven't found a better vet yet, and I will continue to use her services for my other five cats as well. She's also quite affordable compared to other vets. During the spaying procedure, she even went above and beyond to help Luna eat better, as she had a lot of tartar buildup. Thank you so much for everything.
The vet is okay as a person, but unfortunately, she doesn't know how to handle animals. We were there for an hour, and she spent more time talking than actually treating the cat. She didn't even spend two minutes with the cat. She charged almost €35 for the treatment, plus €12 for ear cleaner and €13 for a calming spray. I wouldn't recommend her. She knows how to make money, but she doesn't know how to treat animals. Sorry.
