Reviews
Whether it's a cat, dog, horse, or cow, she's always there when you call. Very reliable, top-notch treatment, and very meticulous work.
I would give this veterinarian zero stars. Our cat is fighting for his life because the vet didn't recognize and treat an abscess. The cat was examined hastily, given an antibiotic injection, and given antibiotics and painkillers to take home. The fact that the animal had been lying lethargic at home for four days and wasn't eating was completely ignored. We were told to wait and see. If there was no improvement after a week, we were to come back. After three days, the abscess ruptured. Underneath it was a lot of necrotic tissue. The subsequent veterinarian had to remove so much tissue that we now fear the poor animal won't make it. Of course, we received a bill at the highest rate according to the German Veterinary Fee Schedule (GOT). So, my conclusion: completely overpriced and unfortunately very incompetent. Absolutely not recommended.
One star only because otherwise you can't rate it, otherwise none. I can't recommend this practice because my cat almost died due to a serious error. This error wasn't caused by the vet, but by a veterinary assistant, but I think I have to have such competent staff that such things shouldn't happen. I actually only wanted a flea treatment for my dog and cat, which I got. A tablet for flea and ticks and a deworming treatment for the dog, and a spot-on treatment for flea and ticks for my cat. I received both, the spot-on and the deworming treatment, but without the outer packaging and package insert. When we got home, all the medications were administered to the animals. A few hours later (!), we were just out doing the rest of our vacation shopping, when I received a call telling me not to give the cat the medication under any circumstances, because they had accidentally given me the wrong one, one for dogs. I should immediately wash the cat's entire coat. Unfortunately, neither we nor our cat (an outdoor cat) were home at the time. When I asked what the worst-case scenario could be, I was told that there would be an allergic reaction and possible hair loss at the area where the medication had been applied. But what really happened when we got home is something no one can imagine, because it was horrific. The cat collapsed, panted, screamed, and spasmed so much that he pushed his claws through his tongue, and it took forever for us to remove them. We immediately went back to the vet, where mother was given a drip, oxygen, and a few other treatments. The vet herself reacted quickly. We were able to pick up the cat after two days, but he only recovered after we completely shaved the area where the medication had been applied. We had our data deleted immediately because something like that SHOULDN'T happen.
