Reviews
The vet knows how to get things done and is therefore very direct, which is probably why there are some negative reviews here. In any case, she definitely knows what she's doing and is the best place in the region to go for dental problems in cats. It's also worth mentioning that there are practically no waiting times; treatment is only available by appointment or in life-threatening emergencies.
Until recently, I was very satisfied with the veterinary practice. My dog (a miniature pinscher, 11 years old) was vaccinated, and a general check-up was performed at the same time. While listening to his heart, the vet detected a murmur (she said very confidently, "Yes, there are murmurs"). I inquired about further diagnostic tests and the associated costs, and that's when the shock came. The diagnostic tests alone would cost €600! This didn't include any additional costs for potential medication. Naturally, I was devastated, as I hadn't expected such a "diagnosis" or such a high price for diagnostics. I let a few hours pass and then called another veterinarian who specializes in canine heart disease and got an appointment for the very next day. The diagnostic procedure alone cost €400 LESS at the other practice... The specialist quoted just under €200 for the same diagnostic test... I agreed and ended up only paying €30 for the examination, since my dog has no heart problems whatsoever. So, if I hadn't gotten a second opinion, I would have paid €600 for something that doesn't exist. Then there was the tartar removal... at least €500 per dog... I was able to get an appointment at the other practice for a much better price. The bottom line... the other practice is simply far too overpriced. You feel completely ripped off.
We brought our Beagle in as an emergency on Saturday. The vet cared for him lovingly and examined him thoroughly. Unfortunately, it turned out that we had to say goodbye to our Balu. The vet and her assistant were incredibly supportive and took a lot of time with us. We thank the wonderful team for accompanying our Balu on his final journey!
I visited the veterinary practice and was dissatisfied with the treatment and communication. As previous reviews show, others have had similar experiences. I hope the practice will be able to respond more constructively to criticism in the future.
We've been going to this practice for years and are always very satisfied. The animal's well-being is always the top priority. Ms. Bellinato always takes the time to explain things, is empathetic, and genuinely interested. She always gives clear and concise advice and answers, which we greatly appreciate. We now have two dogs, and she always asks about the other one too—simply because she cares about her patients. Thank you! Billing is always transparent and based on the German Veterinary Fee Schedule (GOT).
