My cat Carlos suffered fractures to his upper and lower jaw, as well as a cleft palate and tongue, and underwent surgery at the clinic after a car accident. Both the surgeon (T. Bergt) and the staff were incredibly friendly. Every step of the treatment was discussed with me, and I was always informed about the costs beforehand. The waiting time for all appointments was very short. My cat is now almost 3.5 months after the accident and is back to his old self. Thank you so much again! 😊

On April 28, 2026, my 9-year-old male dog, Jaro, was bitten on his left front paw by an adder in southern Denmark. Since emergency numbers and 24-hour veterinary services apparently don't work in Denmark, we didn't arrive at the North Sea Veterinary Clinic in Schafflund until 1.5 to 2 hours later. This relatively short timeframe is primarily due to the fact that my two sons, who had traveled with us, quickly and effectively helped us. In Schafflund, we were received by Dr. Bergt and his team, who immediately attended to the very injured dog and provided basic care. Both Dr. Bergt and his staff were understanding and loving, and very empathetic towards us (especially me, the completely distraught pet owner). They reassured and comforted us, and after thorough consultation, suggested we take our dog to the small animal clinic in Wasbek, as they felt 24-hour monitoring would be beneficial, something they unfortunately couldn't provide due to staffing limitations. Dr. Bergt then registered us there by phone and secured a spot for Jaro. After four days, our beloved dog was discharged and is now on the road to recovery. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Bergt and his wonderful team for their help, effective work, and support. Sadly, all of this is no longer a given, but in Schafflund, we experienced what it means when people love their work. I am especially pleased that Dr. Bergt can now add another adder patient to his list of survivors. A thousand thanks to everyone who helped Jaro so wonderfully; he's almost back to his old self. Everything here is just perfect! You notice the difference right from the start when making an appointment: no annoying waiting on hold, but quick and friendly service. There's plenty of parking available, and the entire team always greets you warmly and helpfully. We took our small dog to the North-Baltic Sea Veterinarians because of eye and skin problems. The expertise of the veterinarians was absolutely convincing. The diagnostics, the procedures, and the clear explanations were all excellent.
