Unfortunately, we had to use Ms. Nahrvani's emergency service to euthanize our critically ill cat. Aside from the exorbitant bill of nearly €350 for just 5 minutes of work for the euthanasia, an emergency fee of €75 net was charged. The legally mandated emergency fee is €50 net. It's disheartening that Ms. Nahrvani feels the need to issue an incorrect bill to clients in such a distressing situation. I would advise anyone who has used her emergency service to check their bill. If you have been charged more than €50 net for the emergency service, please report it to the Hamburg State Chamber of Veterinary Surgeons. Addendum to the practice's comment: According to my information from the Hamburg State Chamber of Veterinary Surgeons, the emergency service fee is ALWAYS €50 net. And we were at the practice; it wasn't a house call. And even in the case of a house call, it would be a flat fee for a house call and has nothing to do with the general emergency service fee. Here is an excerpt from the fee schedule: "The new Section 3a 'Fees for Veterinary Emergency Services' regulates how emergency services are to be billed. A flat 'emergency service fee' of €50.00 (net) must be charged for a veterinary visit during emergency service hours. In addition, at least twice the standard veterinary fee schedule (GOT) must be charged for veterinary services provided during emergency hours." Furthermore, the veterinarian is now permitted to charge up to four times the standard fee for emergency services, instead of the previous maximum of three times the standard fee. So, up to four times the standard fee can be charged. But it doesn't have to be! The flat fee of €50 net for emergency services, however, is a fixed amount, regardless of the specific veterinary services provided. And the charge for the injectable anesthetic wasn't €53.22, but €57.30. If we're going to do this, let's stick to the correct figures.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this veterinarian. My first call was answered, but since it wasn't an emergency, I was dismissed in a very rude manner. My subsequent attempts to get through by phone were ignored. Interestingly, she answered immediately when I called from a different number – only to tell me that too many people were calling and she didn't have time, before simply hanging up. The way callers are treated here is simply unbelievable. The tone and behavior were not only unprofessional but also incredibly disrespectful. This behavior has nothing to do with love for animals; it seems more like they're just trying to make money quickly and easily. I can now completely understand the bad reviews and can only advise everyone against calling or visiting this practice. 😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

The emergency service is catastrophic, offering no service to other patients. They simply ask what you expect in an emergency and tell you to move away from the door. Not even worth one star.

It was supposedly open on a Sunday at 10am. When I got there with my puppy in an emergency I called and was told that no one is there until 2pm I find it extremely dangerous to have 10am written in your schedule if you wont be there at that time given that you are literally named “Nottierarzt”. I can only imagine how many distressed pet owners have had the same issue.

An incredibly kind and competent team! My dog ​​is usually very sensitive to injections and often shows signs of pain. With Ms. Fahimeh Nahravani, it was completely different for the first time: he barely noticed the injection. The calm and warm atmosphere made it easy not only for my dog, but also for me as his concerned owner, to remain relaxed. You can immediately tell that Ms. Nahravani is passionate about her work. She and her assistant were extremely empathetic and professional – we felt completely at ease from the very first moment. Thank you so much for this positive experience!
