Always the best advice, and explanations when I ask questions without being treated like an idiot and immediate treatment... My boys love him
Since Dr. Ruhol's practice was closed for vacation, my dog was examined by Dr. Eschweiler. He took an incredible amount of time and worked very thoroughly. This was also evident in my dog: he was completely relaxed and calmly endured the entire examination. Overall, I am very satisfied and felt very well cared for.
I consider Dr. Eschweiler to be highly competent and enjoy visiting his practice. In most cases, the wait is short, you can come without an appointment during opening hours, and as a regular patient, I've only had to pay for medication and treatment after the entire procedure is complete. In my opinion, the prices are perfectly reasonable; on the contrary, for dental work on my dogs and cats, I only paid a fraction of what acquaintances paid at other vets. My animals have always received excellent care here.
My longtime veterinarian, Mr. Turek in Wegberg, passed away in 2025, and I had to find a new one. When I discovered a large lump on my cat Kira's left cheek, I initially went to Dr. Ammann, as the veterinarian in Eschweiler was closed that day. Without examining the lump closely, he poked into it with a scalpel and said the fluid could now drain. The bill was considerable. The lump continued to grow, and I went to Dr. Eschweiler, who had since reopened. He examined the lump and gave me a short-notice appointment for its surgical removal. The lump was removed and examined pathologically. It turned out to be a benign salivary gland adenoma, which had been completely removed. The postoperative course was uncomplicated, and my Kira is doing wonderfully again. I can wholeheartedly recommend the veterinary practice of Peter Eschweiler.
