I can hardly understand some of the reviews here. All our previous dogs, as well as my cats, have always received very professional care here. The vet isn't unfriendly at all; quite the opposite. Yes, his gruff manner can seem rough, but ultimately, competence is what counts, and Dr. Eschweiler certainly has that, based on my/our experience. What we also greatly appreciate is that a few years ago, when he was unsure about one of our dogs, he advised us to visit a nearby veterinary clinic to be on the safe side. There, we received a diagnosis that shocked us, but was very important for our dog. He didn't give us a false diagnosis, nor did he leave us in the dark. He gave us possible diagnoses and stood by his advice that a veterinary clinic was the better option in this case. When the dog in question had to be euthanized, Mr. Eschweiler came to our home and gently put our dog to sleep in his favorite spot in the garden. That was his job. Comforting us or anything else is not his job. Instead, he gave us space and time to say goodbye. I am very happy and can continue my work with Mr. Eschweiler with a clear conscience.

Since Dr. Ruhol's practice was closed for vacation, my dog ​​was examined by Dr. Eschweiler. He took an incredible amount of time and worked very thoroughly. This was also evident in my dog: he was completely relaxed and calmly endured the entire examination. Overall, I am very satisfied and felt very well cared for.

I consider Dr. Eschweiler to be highly competent and enjoy visiting his practice. In most cases, the wait is short, you can come without an appointment during opening hours, and as a regular patient, I've only had to pay for medication and treatment after the entire procedure is complete. In my opinion, the prices are perfectly reasonable; on the contrary, for dental work on my dogs and cats, I only paid a fraction of what acquaintances paid at other vets. My animals have always received excellent care here.
