Best horse clinic in this region! At least if you have something that doesn't need to go to Bargteheide. I'm always satisfied with the travel experience, too. Even if the prices can't quite keep up with my long-winded vet, at least I don't feel like I'm being "talked into" services that aren't needed (unfortunately, I experienced that at another clinic in this region!). Friendly veterinarians, some with decades of experience, simply have more experience than clinics that almost exclusively employ "beginners." Furthermore, the clinic grounds are tidy and inviting.

What a fantastic practice team! For years, they were always there for me with advice, support, and heartfelt compassion, always putting profit first. Now, however, I had to take my little one on her final journey. My deepest gratitude goes out to the entire team. Despite my profound grief, they handled the process with such incredible compassion and heartfelt understanding. She was able to cross the Rainbow Bridge with dignity. I thank the whole team again from the bottom of my heart. Keep up the amazing work!

A super friendly and competent team. I'm very grateful that Ms. Pokar took on my pony (a Kalti-Norwegian mix), despite knowing that she has very specific behavioral issues when it comes to injections, etc. But the team somehow mastered it and survived unharmed. For that alone, I have complete admiration and endless gratitude. The girls also helped us load the pony very calmly, patiently, and competently, until the pony was on board after about half an hour. The explanations about the examination, diagnosis, and treatment were very clear and detailed. I would definitely recommend them.

It's a shame. I was a satisfied customer here for a long time and particularly valued Dr. Röhwer, who supported me wonderfully during my horse's serious illness, and Ms. Herrschaft, whom I always found competent and personable. After a completely unsatisfactory dental treatment of my Norwegian by another veterinarian, and an unforgiving discussion about it while my horse was suffering from severe colic, for which I called her in as an emergency, my trust is at zero, and I will be changing my mind.

This was the second time we weren't really helped. The first time, we received a misdiagnosis and got our money back. The second time, recently, we had to call the emergency room at 5 a.m. The vet didn't want to come. We were told to wait until 8 a.m. After insisting, she finally came. After the diagnosis, we were given a bunch of medications, but the necessary referral to a veterinary clinic never arrived. Valuable time was lost! When we then went to a different clinic, we were able to save the life of the foal, born at night, just at the very last moment. The "Bockhorner" veterinarians are not recommended.
