Very friendly vet, but not honest. My bill states: General examination and examination of individual organs of the cat. In reality, he only checked the fur for parasites and charged a hefty €25 for two minutes of work.
Dr. Wipplinger has been my cat's veterinarian for years. He has saved several of my cats' lives on numerous occasions. No animal is left untreated, and no effort is too great for our little darlings. It's incredibly reassuring to know that he takes every humanly possible measure for our animals' well-being.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our dog unfortunately tore his cruciate ligament – and from the very first moment, we felt we were in excellent hands with Mr. Wipplinger. The diagnosis, the comprehensive consultation, and ultimately the necessary surgery were all extremely professional from beginning to end. We were informed down to the smallest detail; every step was explained clearly, and no question remained unanswered. Even in the aftercare, Mr. Wipplinger shows great care and genuine interest in the animal's well-being. He actively inquires about our dog's condition and is always readily available to answer questions. This accessibility and his dedication are not a given these days – which makes it all the more commendable. A personal word to everyone who rates this practice with only one star: Yes, it is tragic to lose a beloved pet – but veterinarians are not miracle workers. Diagnoses in animals are often significantly more difficult than in humans because animals cannot communicate their ailments. A veterinarian has to treat a wide variety of species and cover many medical specialties simultaneously – that deserves respect. And regarding costs: Anyone getting a pet should familiarize themselves with the potential costs beforehand – including veterinary care, surgeries, and aftercare. There are many organizations and support services that can help in times of financial hardship, for example: Animal welfare associations (local & regional) Emergency veterinary funds Social projects like "pet food banks" or "Action for Animals" Municipal support programs In conclusion: Animals are not decorations or toys. Anyone who cares for a living being should also assume full responsibility for it – including species-appropriate husbandry, medical care, and respect for the animal. Many thanks to Mr. Wipplinger and the entire team – we feel completely safe and competently cared for in your hands.
It was a Sunday. Our dog had a restless night. He needed to go out this morning, was trembling, had no appetite, and was lethargic. I called the emergency vet several times. The first time, the vet answered angrily and told me to call back later. When I called again, he answered angrily again and said he'd call back later, which he never did.
