The veterinary practice belongs to the IVC Evidensia Group, a provider of veterinary services in Europe and North America with over 2,500 clinics and animal hospitals in 20 countries. IVC Evidensia itself is owned by the private equity group EQT. This business model gives the impression that profit is often prioritized over the animals' welfare – at least that was my impression after two rather disappointing experiences. During my first visit, I had my dog's teeth cleaned. The initial cost was increased to a total of €2,000 by numerous additional examinations that were recommended to me. My mistake – I didn't have to agree to them. My second visit was due to an injured claw on my dog's head. It had to be removed, which cost about €400. A bandage was then applied, and I was advised to have it changed at the practice every two days – at a cost of €140 per change. Unfortunately, the wound became infected, presumably because it wasn't getting enough air. Because of my concerns, I consulted a different veterinarian who removed the bandage and successfully treated the wound within two visits. I'm aware that veterinary costs have generally increased, but with a chain like IVC Evidensia, you not only pay high prices but also risk suboptimal care. The focus here seems to be more on increasing revenue than on the animals' well-being. That's my personal experience—others may have had different experiences.

Unlike other vets that asked me to wait for weeks. -the vet and assistants were very nice and gentle on my cat. They explained everything to me well and gave good suggestions. Definitely recommend.

I took my cat there, and they examined her thoroughly (despite her lack of cooperation). I had a good feeling about the place; they were knowledgeable and friendly, and they took their time with both the animal and the owner. Highly recommended, I'll definitely come back!
