Excellent service, simply delicious, ambiance highly recommended.
The "practice" is extremely dirty and not at all hygienic. My dog was covered in cobwebs, dust, and dirt almost immediately. He also picked up a partially used glass ampoule. The vaccination was administered with the same needle used to draw the ampoule, which had been wiped with a used guest towel beforehand. That evening, we ended up at the veterinary clinic with our puppy due to anaphylactic shock. Never again!
Dr. Kerscher has been my family veterinarian for over 30 years, caring for my five dogs. I have always been, and still am, more than satisfied with her diagnostics and treatment. She is a veterinarian who doesn't immediately resort to expensive diagnostic equipment (ultrasound, etc.) but can, thanks to her experience, also provide effective treatment without it. My dogs have always enjoyed going to her practice, and that's still the case with our current dog.
The first time I took my two dogs to Dr. Kerscher was for their rabies booster shots. Even then, she made a great impression – Dr. Kerscher takes ample time for each of her patients, lets them settle in, and addresses each animal individually. She has answered all my questions reliably and thoroughly. The second time was a week ago, when we visited the practice again – because of a suspected ear infection. Dr. Kerscher examined them and recommended a gentle ear cleaner first, instead of immediately prescribing antibiotics. What can I say? We saw results on the second day, and my dog is feeling much better. Dr. Kerscher doesn't try to force additional medications on you, doesn't pressure you into mandatory follow-up appointments, and doesn't make you feel like you're doing everything wrong; instead, she provides clear explanations. She also always gets back to you promptly. A veterinarian with heart, intelligence, and a genuine interest in the well-being of animals. We love coming here!
I thank Dr. Kerscher for the excellent treatment and support of my cat Caruso. Unfortunately, due to a tragic error by Dr. Siems (failure to check blood work and incorrectly extracting teeth), I received a recommendation for Dr. Kerscher too late. However, after six months, our efforts were abruptly ended by the caretaker during a 1.5-day visit. Despite living in close proximity to our house, she failed to follow the important instructions regarding feeding and monitoring. I highly recommend Dr. Kerscher and will continue to consult her if needed. Thank you also for the compassionate care she provided to Caruso and me.
