Friendliness, professionalism, and passion characterize not only veterinarians Dr. Günther Merx and Dr. Andrea Merx, but the entire team at the practice. There's an excellent atmosphere, surpassed only by the team's professional expertise. We and our feisty cat felt very comfortable and highly recommend the practice!

I took my dog ​​to the emergency veterinary clinic in Bamberg (Kirschäckerstraße) for an acute emergency (a severely bleeding, torn ear). The treatment was limited to a temporary fix with a pressure bandage and some occlusive powder. Immediately after leaving the treatment room, the ear started bleeding heavily again, and the entire bandage was soaked through within a very short time. When I called again, the bandage was simply reapplied by a receptionist. The veterinarian herself did not examine the situation again. I did not feel that adequate emergency care was provided. Furthermore, I did not receive a proper, itemized bill, even though I was charged €153. Therefore, I cannot recommend this clinic and would go directly to a different veterinary practice or clinic in a similar emergency.

The entire team is warm, competent, and always fully committed – you can immediately tell that the animals' well-being is their top priority. Dr. Merx takes plenty of time, explains every step clearly, and everyone on the team treats the animals with loving care. My cat and I are so happy to have found such a wonderful practice. The practice is well-organized and has a warm, friendly atmosphere. Thank you so much for your outstanding work – we feel we are in excellent hands here and can wholeheartedly recommend this practice! 🐾

Friendly welcome at the initial consultation. We had an appointment at 9:30, the practice opens at 9:00, yet we still had to wait three-quarters of an hour. The doctor provided expert treatment and explained his procedure. The private bill for two conditions was perfectly reasonable.
