On December 6, 2022, my boy went to the vet for a routine procedure. There were problems with the anesthesia right away. Dr. Kaufmann reacted quickly and, after the diagnostic workup, confirmed a massive splenic tumor. His swift response and communication prevented my 12-year-old friend from suffering. I was able to stay with him until the very end and say goodbye to my family. I thank everyone who made my worst day bearable, and that my dog, no, my companion, was able to pass away so peacefully and painlessly. Thank you on behalf of my entire family. Of all the souls I have encountered on my travels, his was the most human.

We were really looking forward to our vacation, but unfortunately, things didn't go as planned. Our 10-year-old dog started urinating constantly on the second day and was passing bright red blood. We were able to get her to the vet at short notice, and she was x-rayed. The x-ray showed everything was fine. We were given painkillers and antibiotics and told to come back if things didn't improve. Unfortunately, she didn't, and we were given another short-notice ultrasound appointment. This clearly showed pyometra. We had to act quickly, and our dog needed surgery. The operation went well, and I was able to pick up our Emmi just a few hours later. Today (Sunday), I went for a follow-up appointment, and everything looks good. Many thanks to the vet team for helping Emmi so kindly and saving her life!

We went there because of a biting incident with our dog. Ms. Kaufmann was on call and gave us a warm welcome after we arranged it by phone. I'm so grateful for that. She was incredibly kind and empathetic towards us and our dog. She guided me through the further wound care and explained everything calmly so I could do it myself at home. She was so impressed with our incredibly well-behaved dog (he's only partially well-behaved at home). Two days after the visit, we called again to discuss further wound care, which Ms. Kaufmann wanted to discuss with me personally. My husband and I will come back if necessary. 😅 We certainly hope not too soon. 🙈 Thank you again for your patience and wonderful support.

We called an emergency service and they were able to come immediately; our dog received excellent treatment. 🐕
