Tierärztliche Praxis Dr. Caglar

We have been taking our two canine sisters to Dr. Caglar for over 12 years for medical care and would like to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to the wonderful practice team. We consistently receive very courteous and competent treatment and feel very well cared for. Thank you so much and all the best!

We were regular patients of Dr. Caglar for three to four years, initially only seeing him for minor things like vaccinations, conjunctivitis, etc., and were initially satisfied. However, our beloved dog then began experiencing severe seizures, and we explicitly showed Dr. Caglar video footage of the illness. He told us to monitor the situation and come back if it happened again. After the next seizure, we were sent home. We were never informed about epilepsy (hindsight is always 20/20), and we didn't receive a neurological referral. After the third seizure, we were told, quite literally, that he wasn't familiar with neurological diseases and that we should seek treatment elsewhere. We were never informed about how our dog should be treated, what options were available, or who we should contact. Three days ago we had an emergency. It was a Monday evening, and we actually managed to reach the practice. The receptionist immediately recognized our phone number and said, "Is this you with your dog having seizures? The doctor will call you right back." Three days have now passed, and we haven't received a call back. We are very disappointed and advise everyone to seek out a specialist for serious illnesses and not to rely on the practice's help, especially in emergencies.
