I've been having my pet's stool samples tested here for selective deworming for several years now. The practice team is very friendly and always helpful with any questions. The results of the stool tests are always available very quickly.
We have been regular clients of this practice for years with numerous horses and have always been completely satisfied! Absolute reliability, a very high level of expertise, and genuine care are what characterize the team. We can wholeheartedly recommend Dirk Schellhoff and his team without reservation! Especially in emergencies, you can always rely on their competent help. No question is too much trouble, and every step of the treatment is explained clearly and thoroughly... A definite 10 out of 5 stars!
They've been by our side for years and are irreplaceable. Both veterinarians and the entire team at the practice are always competent, empathetic, and take the time needed. For routine matters and especially in emergencies, I know I can rely on them 100% and that both animal and owner will be treated with respect and expertise.
A very nice vet! But I almost fainted when I saw the bill for two sedations for transport. €350! Two weeks earlier, I paid €105 for the same service at another practice. The charges included travel expenses of over €50 from Marl to Recklinghausen, a house call fee, a general examination, a specialized examination (even though they only listened to the heart and lungs), consultation, time spent, supplies, and sedation. In my opinion, completely exorbitant...
I don't even know how many times you've helped us, in acute, life-threatening emergencies (like a severe toenail puncture) as well as with routine, planned procedures. Thank you for that! Even though we now live too far away for emergency services and only scheduled appointments are possible, we are incredibly grateful for all the good advice. This is especially true right now. When something is very important or serious, we rely on Dr. Dirk Schellhoff's opinion; distance is secondary.
