What needs to be provided for an appointment at the stable?

For a professional dental treatment on-site at the stable, a suitable, level treatment area (box or grooming area) is required. A power supply is also needed.

Are alternative sedation methods offered for difficult horses?

Yes, for difficult patients, the practice now also offers sedation using a blowpipe as a supplementary measure for stress-free sedation.

What should be considered before and after a dental treatment?

Before treatment, the horse should only eat hay. After the procedure, the animal must not eat for about an hour and should be kept alone in a safe environment until the sedation has completely worn off.

It really went smoothly for my gelding, without much fuss, and without much pressure or pain. He provided information and adequate answers to my questions. I was very impressed. Everything was perfect.

A wonderfully friendly equine dentist – she explains, demonstrates, and acts – all for the well-being of her equine patients and their owners. She explains her procedures and works in a very horse-friendly manner, so the patients tolerate the treatment well. She uses modern equipment. She has visited us several times for dental care, removed wolf teeth and milk caps, and extracted damaged incisors and molars from our senior horse. Highly recommended!!!
