A veterinarian like no other – competent, friendly, and compassionate. Our dog had surgery with her – a very serious operation since she was already 10 years old and had a heart condition. The surgery went wonderfully, and she was quickly back on her feet. What no one knew was that shortly before the surgery, she had contracted parvovirus during a walk. The day after the operation, she had bloody stools, hypothermia, and her entire circulatory system collapsed. She couldn't clot her blood. Ms. Bellinato picked her up from my house, and she immediately received medication, IV fluids, and a blood transfusion. She was a little better that evening, but unfortunately, only briefly. Then the virus took over, and she passed away. She was with me and the children, who thankfully were with me and could therefore say goodbye (my kids are all grown up). She comforted us and offered to keep the animal at her practice; no animals are disposed of there anymore. You have the choice between individual cremation, in which case you receive the ashes back, or cremation with many other animals, scattered near Bad Bodenteich in a well-concealed oak forest. She gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. She comforted us and held us in her arms. If someone needs a small animal veterinarian with state-of-the-art facilities, capable of performing even difficult surgeries with her team, available almost 24/7, and who appreciates clear communication, then they are in the best hands here.

Visited as a replacement because our vet was on vacation... We would never go there again, not even in an emergency. No connection to the animals at all, just disappointing. We felt like they were only in it to make money. Unfriendly on top of that. Unfortunately, our dog died shortly afterward.

Please always make an appointment. Mrs. Bellinato speaks plainly, and everyone has to deal with that. She explains her diagnosis, for people. Our dog was bitten (Sunday), so we called her and nothing. Only appointments during public opening hours (recorded message). This suits Ms. Bellinato. We have decided not to encourage this anymore. We have since learned from other veterinarians that there are other, affordable medications. We then went to an on-call vet to have it checked out, who immediately sent us to the Veterinary School in Hanover.

Unfortunately, they were very unfriendly and incompetent. We've met several veterinarians through our many travels. Our 12-year-old, chronically ill dog suffered a subcutaneous hematoma for the first time (!!!!). Thankfully, we found another practice that same day.

I have absolutely no complaints, neither about the prices nor about the treatment of my animals. We first went there for our one cat's dental problems. Everything went wonderfully and healed perfectly!! We went a few days ago for the spaying of our other cat. She takes her time, answers all questions factually and competently, and if you're ever a little behind, you can always ask a third time ;) Highly recommended!
