If I could give more than five stars, I would! Here’s my essay, because I have to write one! This is the best veterinary clinic I have ever been to, and I have been to a LOT. My dog is very special, unfortunately she has many health issues and, because of this, I’ve had to visit countless veterinarians, not just across Germany but all over Europe. Therefore, I can say with confidence that this is the best veterinary clinic I was lucky enough to find. Due to my dog’s complex medical needs, she has also been treated here by multiple veterinarians, and every single one of them has been incredible with her. They truly care about the pet, about their history (very important!), they listen to you, respect your dog’s personality, and that makes a huge difference. Also for every examination my dog needed, I was allowed to stay by her side (whenever possible of course). They just really care about the wellbeing of your pet. Recently, my dog had also surgery here, and given her condition, the entire process was very stressful, but everyone involved was incredibly supportive and helpful. The surgeon was amazing, and I honestly can’t express how grateful I am for the care my dog received. Beyond that, the clinic itself is welcoming, and everyone who works here is kind and professional. I can only say thank you for being such a wonderful place to care for our pets!
A heartfelt thank you to the entire team at Die Tierischen in Bräuningshof. We would especially like to commend Dr. Schugk – she was incredibly empathetic and understanding, and she dedicated a great deal of time to us and our Lola. During this difficult time, she supported us with great calm, compassion, and professional expertise. The receptionist was also always there for us with advice and assistance. From the very first moment, we felt well cared for and understood. Although we ultimately had to say goodbye to our Lola, we are incredibly grateful for the loving care we received. We were particularly touched by the personal sympathy card from the entire team – this gesture meant so much to us during this difficult time. An exceptionally wonderful practice that is always there for you. Highly recommended.
We took our dachshund to the practice for an allergy check-up and were completely satisfied. They were able to get us an appointment very quickly, which was a huge help. The entire team was exceptionally friendly and empathetic, both to our dog and to us. The consultation was very competent and easy to understand; they took their time and explained everything clearly. We felt we were in excellent hands and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
With Dr. Kimmerling, we feel truly well cared for, both professionally and personally, during every visit. The practice team, especially Dr. Barth and Dr. Sommer, are also wonderful with our dog, Socci. Socci is a rescue dog and can be quite anxious at times. This is so wonderfully taken into consideration, both during the waiting time and during the examination – I've never experienced anything like it with any other veterinarian. There are plenty of alternative spaces if the waiting room is crowded, and you can even wait outside. Furthermore, you can exit each examination room directly without having to walk past other waiting patients. We also take advantage of the medical training program, where Socci gets to practice learning that going to the vet isn't so bad. Even when our dog Sammy had to be put down last February, we received the utmost compassion. We will never forget that.
We've been taking our huskies, all rescue dogs, to the veterinary practice in Bräunungshof for over 20 years for all necessary checkups, vaccinations, and treatments, including emergencies. Even though the practice team has changed gradually over the years, we've always received competent and patient advice, and our dogs have always been in excellent hands. Keep up the good work!
