Best vet ever! I searched for so long for a good vet and finally found her. She always treated my Maine Coons to my complete satisfaction. I was always given honest information about the options and risks – as well as the costs. A very warm and, above all, humane vet who practices her profession with care and expertise. Vitali, Yuri, and I say thank you! Please keep up the great work!
My chinchilla wasn't properly cared for before Christmas! Since our vet is chronically ill indefinitely, I went to Dr. Rigo to have my chinchilla's teeth checked and possibly have them filed down, something Dr. Rigo unfortunately isn't familiar with. I could hear laughter and gossip coming from the examination room, and I felt my pet was somewhat of an afterthought in the Christmas spirit. X-rays without anesthesia weren't possible; he was sedated with gas, and in my opinion, for too long—he was groggy for over 1.5 hours afterward. The result was tilted X-rays that the next vet couldn't interpret. His teeth were indeed in the "end stage," but I was told that nothing unusual was visible. Even after I emailed her to draw the reference lines according to Böhmer & Crossley, she supposedly didn't notice anything; I was told I could have another X-ray taken. The result was tilted X-rays that the next vet couldn't interpret. Instead, they focused on the more than three-year-old medical history, performing unnecessary Giardia tests that, of course, yielded no results. They gave me a small dose of vitamin B12 and calcium gluconate, along with the curt suggestion that I should consult my previous vet after my chinchilla recovered, as nothing could be done before Christmas anyway. I had the feeling they didn't want to address the issue at all, and they didn't offer any recommendations for specialists. The whole thing cost 400 euros, and my complaint about the ambiguous images was, of course, ignored. This vet was the second of a total of five, all of whom were unable to provide adequate care for my chinchilla, and he sadly had to die. I hope that lessons are learned from this, because chinchilla care in Austria is a nightmare!
I've been a customer since the very beginning. A fantastic veterinarian with a super friendly team. Our animals feel completely at ease with Karin Rigo. I can therefore highly recommend this vet. TOP!!
Thank you so much! Dr. Rigo is very empathetic and highly competent. She has helped us several times and always has helpful advice. The practice and the entire atmosphere are fantastic! The lovely assistant is also wonderful. Warm regards from our Sissi 🦴🐶 👍👍💐
I am so incredibly happy to have Dr. Rigo as my veterinarian! When my cat was very ill, we received excellent care and advice, and even minor ailments are always treated with love and expertise. She, and her lovely assistants, always had a sympathetic ear for my concerns, and appointments are very easy to get. The practice is clean, beautiful, and very well-equipped. Meow, Balu, Keanu, and Willow are in the best hands with her and her team.
