Best Dr ever
After a few bad experiences, I've finally found the BEST VET 👍 so empathetic, above all competent, and the loving way he treats my old, sick 🐱 Merano - THANK YOU 🐱 & her can opener
We took our dog (20 kg) to this vet and were disappointed every time. When having blood drawn, we had to hold our terrified dog ourselves—without any assistance from an assistant. When it didn't work immediately (we don't do this every day, after all), the vet became snappy and threatened to put the dog under anesthesia if we didn't do it "properly." My hands and shirt were covered in blood afterward. Instead of being calming, he kept telling us to ignore the dog and listen to him—while our dog frantically tried to hide behind us. Before the surgery, we were sent away with the words that it would take another half hour, which was far from ideal with an already extremely anxious dog. When we returned, he asked, quite seriously, "What are you doing today?" This was anything but professional. Then he simply took my dog from my hand and sent me away. Only in the car did I realize that my dog was now going to fall asleep alone, terrified, and without me. Something I've never experienced before. He wanted to run after me, of course, but then he quickly closed the door. It still breaks my heart. Well, then they said they'd call as soon as the dog was awake. That call never came. We had to call twice ourselves. The first time, they just said, sounding stressed, that the dog was already awake. The second time, he snapped at us: "What? I have a patient, get your dog." Excuse me? My dog IS a patient. When we picked him up, it was the same thing again: hectic, unfriendly, no listening, no peace and quiet. The vet always seems extremely stressed, talks down to you, and barely lets you finish speaking. I don't care if he's cheaper. Respect, communication, and professional conduct are more important. We will never go there again and can only advise against it. By the way: Our dog had been a patient there for quite some time, and yet he never knew whether he was male or female or what had been done during the previous visits.
No words are needed here. A veterinarian who truly knows his craft. Dr. Czedik-Eysenberg is a real go-getter. Excellent explanations and clear instructions regarding the next steps. My dog was spayed a year ago (minimally invasively), something hardly any veterinarian in Germany dared to perform. The operation took only 15 minutes, and to be honest, she was fully recovered by the second day. My dog is doing very well. Thank you!
