Reviews
After tearing a cruciate ligament, our senior dog had to undergo surgery. Conclusion: Dr. Kilb did an outstanding and fantastic job. After a short time, our dog was able to walk on all four legs again (albeit very carefully), and we can see further improvement in his movement every day (surgery was just 10 days ago). We are not just satisfied—we are thrilled! Thank you, Daniel Kilb and team 😊
We came to Dr. Kilb through a recommendation. Our dog had an old cruciate ligament tear that unfortunately couldn't be repaired. Major surgery with titanium reinforcement was necessary. That was six weeks ago now. The healing process is going very well. We are absolutely satisfied with the initial consultation/examination, the surgery, the aftercare, and the rehabilitation measures. A fantastic, competent team! 💪🏻👍🏻
A truly fantastic team and excellent veterinarians who always take their time! Especially with our Freddy, who has leishmaniasis. Dr. Weißflog takes her time, advises us thoroughly and competently, and calls us when the lab results are in. It's so important to be in a good veterinary practice, especially with an illness like this.
Extortion, exploitation, and animal cruelty My brother took our cats there on a recommendation because they supposedly treat cats with great care and have fair prices. The cats were supposed to have routine checkups, including blood tests. After the first cat, it looked like a slaughterhouse because the vet couldn't get a proper lancet, and the cat, of course, didn't take kindly to that. After the second cat, she looked as if she'd been slaughtered. Again, they couldn't get a proper lancet to draw blood. The cats were so distressed. This is definitely not a loving environment. With the first cat, they said the blood would be tested on-site, but ultimately, they had to check a value that could only be determined in a lab. At the checkout, we got a huge shock: €500 without a lab bill. That arrived later. They charged us twice for the first cat's lab work. Why not just send it directly to the lab if a value is missing? Was it intentional, just to be able to charge twice? Then the shipping to the lab was billed separately, so we were charged twice, even though the cats arrived together and the billing address is the same. We've never paid so much at a vet, even in Frankfurt city center. Of course, we called the vet in Frankfurt and asked how much it would have cost there... we would have saved over half, and they would have treated the cats much more lovingly. Looking back, we wonder why we didn't go back to our old vet, even though we were satisfied with him... Now we've received a letter demanding 0.29 cents... the postage cost more than that! How can anyone be so greedy and treat their cats like that? Even when the cats were spayed/neutered, we didn't pay this much in Frankfurt. Anyone who loves their pet and doesn't just want to get rid of their money should avoid this practice. Unprofessional and extortionate—a complete outrage!
