I got along well with Mr. Martini; I found him competent and nice. But when I had to bring two semi-feral cats in for booster shots and Ms. Bretthauer was there, I was appalled. First, she and the receptionist weren't able to restrain the animal in the carrier for the injection. When I suggested they could use the cloth I had brought, I was told I had to leave that to them. I mentioned that I was used to things being done differently, and they snapped at me again, telling me to go to the other vet. I've worked in animal welfare for many years, but I've never experienced anything like this. They were both extremely unfriendly to me. The two cats were then forced into a crate from which they could barely get them out. I found the entire treatment awful; I felt extremely uncomfortable. Finally, I was told that it must have been an ordeal for them... but for me and my animals, it was a nightmare. Unacceptable. Perhaps they should mention on their website that only tame cats are allowed for treatment and that you're not allowed to speak during the treatment; it's appalling how customers are treated there.

We went there about a week ago for an examination because our dog had a raised wound on his hind leg. The vet only looked at the wound from a meter away, and after a minute we left the examination room with a wound spray and instructions to use it three times a day, and we were out over €50. Today I went to a different vet nearby because it was getting worse. Our dog now has an appointment for surgery there, as it turns out to be a tumor.

After just one phone call and a subsequent unfriendly conversation with the receptionist, I decided against using this practice. I will only entrust my pet and myself to a place of trust.
