A wonderful veterinarian; we always feel well cared for. Our furry friends are always so sweet and calm. It's a completely different story at home. I'm also quite good at being a veterinary assistant, something I never would have thought.

My first impression was good, but in retrospect I was very disappointed. First, he complained that some people don't pay their bills, even though I paid mine. He diagnosed my dog ​​with a tumor and gave me hope with surgery, but when I called him as agreed to schedule the operation, he told me he wasn't operating because he was on vacation. Paying a bill is one thing, but rewarding a service rendered is quite another. I have absolutely no respect for this vet.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A heartfelt recommendation – more than just a vet We traveled all the way from Weimar because Mr. Volkmar was recommended to us – and because after three months I simply didn't know what else to do. For weeks, we'd been going back and forth daily with different vets and emergency services. Our cats continued to make strange breathing noises after a severe infection, and no one could properly diagnose it. Antibiotics were prescribed repeatedly – ​​despite negative lab results and swab samples. In total, we spent over €800 on treatments that didn't help. I was so desperate at one point that I even had to set up a donation account because I couldn't afford it anymore. Then, on Monday, we saw Mr. Volkmar. After I explained everything to him, for the first time, I felt like he was truly listening to us. He immediately assessed the situation correctly and gave our cats medication – and I can hardly believe it myself: the very next morning, there was an incredible improvement. Their breathing sounds were significantly better. It was as if someone finally understood what was really going on. Mr. Volkmar is not only incredibly competent professionally – he is an unbelievable kind person. Warm, calm, and empathetic. You feel taken seriously, understood, and not just dismissed. Our cat, who is usually very temperamental around strangers, felt so comfortable with him that she even let him pet her. That alone says it all for me. I don't think he even realizes the extent to which he helped us. After months of worry, uncertainty, and financial strain, he finally gave us peace of mind. We will be forever grateful.
