Our food (a mixture of hay and leftover lettuce, cucumber scraps, etc. – without dressing, of course) was criticized. The vet said the rabbit should only be given water and hay. A few weeks after following the vet's instructions, it died. While proof is difficult, we believe the recommended change in diet was the cause of death.
