We moved here at the end of February 2025 and were looking for a new veterinarian for our dog. After thorough online research and our own explorations, we came across Mr. Binder. The practice is even within walking distance – perfect! Today, after making an appointment, we went to see Mr. Binder for her annual vaccination. Both he and his staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The practice is clean, tidy, and attractively furnished. We were seen on time, and our dog immediately felt at ease. Mr. Binder was very sensitive to her, and the vaccination procedure was quick and painless. The fee was more than reasonable, and we felt well cared for. We would be happy to come back!
Anyone who has been in the dog world for decades knows that Mr. Binder is a veterinarian who provides realistic diagnoses and doesn't promise miracles! These make veterinarians rich, but don't necessarily make owners happy. Always happy to come back!👍👍
A vet just the way you want one! Alpha and Murphy always received the help they needed. My Vizslas love going there, no worries. No mass processing, everything is very humane. I'd give it 10 stars! I hope Dr. Binder stays with us for a very, very long time ❤️🐾
Saturday night we had to have our little dog put down. Had we known that this unempathetic vet would charge us €380 for a lethal injection into the heart, plus an examination (which didn't even take place), for just 10 minutes of work, we wouldn't have gone there. Outrageous.
If I could, I wouldn't even give one star! I called the veterinary practice because it was an emergency: My cat suffers from asthma, and his condition had deteriorated significantly. However, the person on the phone was irritated and showed no compassion or willingness to help. Instead, all I got was, "Yes, and what am I supposed to do now? Go to the clinic in Oldenburg." I find it highly questionable that an on-call veterinarian apparently doesn't know how to handle an acute situation. It's precisely in such moments that you expect professional support and expertise. To then tell me to go to Oldenburg, when the emergency service is supposed to be there to help in emergencies, is beyond disappointing. If an on-call veterinarian gives the impression over the phone that they have no clue or don't want to help, they should seriously reconsider whether they should even be offering these emergency hours. To me, this practice's behavior is simply sad and completely unprofessional.
