I feel that my two dachshunds are in very good hands with Dr. Corinna Böhmer and her entire team; they are all competent, very friendly, and very empathetic, both with the animals and their owners.
I had to pay for the entire treatment of a hedgehog (a wild animal) myself. I rescued the animal from being run over on the road and took it in to hibernate. But I find it disappointing that the vet showed absolutely no leniency. Especially with wild animals, one should be able to expect some consideration, particularly since it's also mentioned online that vets often make exceptions for wild animals.
