Reviews
Our experience with Dr. Napieraj was extremely negative. During a euthanasia procedure, we perceived his behavior as unprofessional and lacking in empathy.
Very helpful and friendly. The doctor helped us with an emergency outside of opening hours. We would like to thank him again for that. We highly recommend the practice.
My trusted veterinarian. Humane, friendly, and with his heart in the right place. Simply top-notch. 👍👍👍
I can't even put into words how he sent my dog to her death. Euthanizing her at home should have been a dignified and peaceful moment for the family, and especially for the family member. This tragedy was one of the worst moments of my life, and let's just say my little dog's screams echo in my ears every day, which is why I still have trouble sleeping. I'll never be able to shake the guilty conscience of not having thrown that doctor out in time. I wasn't even allowed to hold my little dog in my arms as she fell asleep. She had to find her last sleep alone in the meadow. How could I have allowed this to happen? I wanted a gentle anesthetic for her horse's legs, which I even numbed so there would be absolutely no negative moments, but what happened next is beyond anyone's imagination. He twice shoved a huge needle into her tumor-covered rear end, and my pleas were ignored. There was a lot of yelling... I'm still traumatized, even a month later.
Unacceptable vet! The gentleman had no understanding of my dislike for the way he held my cat and didn't change the way he lifted and grasped her by the neck. Due to the vet's rough behavior, I wanted to put my cat, who was anesthetized during the treatment, back into the crate myself. I didn't realize that by placing her in the crate, I was blocking her airway. The veterinary assistant helped me place my cat in the crate and didn't mention that my cat wouldn't be able to breathe. It seemed as if she had absolutely no idea what she was doing. This struck me as odd in retrospect. The vet then alerted me to the situation by swatting my hand away and yelling at me. A calm tone would be far more pleasant for both humans and animals, and appropriate for a qualified veterinarian. He described me as sensitive. I find it highly questionable to pick up a cat by the neck and hold it in the air for an extended period of time, given the current state of research. A little sensitivity wouldn't hurt the vet; then they would understand that this kind of handling hurts a cat and that you shouldn't yell at customers. Unbelievable! Never again. Being a sensitive person, I'm now leaving the practice in tears. The vet's apology was brief. I also find it highly questionable why a complete stranger entered the practice and started talking to the vet while our cat was being treated. Since the practice also reeks of cigarette smoke, I'll never come back anyway. It's a shame; I'm generally a fan of giving people who don't have many reviews a chance. This is best avoided when it comes to beloved pets.
