I can wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Bartels' veterinary practice in Schmilau! From the very first moment, we and our four-legged friend felt completely at ease there. Dr. Bartels and her team really take their time – not only for the medically necessary care, but also for the personal touch: for questions, concerns, and the little details that are important to you as a pet owner. The facilities are modern and professional, the atmosphere is pleasantly calm, and the reception was very friendly. You can tell that here it's not just about "treating" animals, but truly about the well-being of both animal and owner. Thank you so much for the excellent service – we will definitely be back.

Incorrect diagnosis; luckily, we took our dog to a different veterinarian. She couldn't understand Dr. Bartels' diagnosis at all and subsequently made a different, but correct, diagnosis. Although the staff are very friendly, we unfortunately didn't feel comfortable at all in this practice. Furthermore, the prices for medications are really quite steep and significantly cheaper at our current vet. All in all: Not really recommended.
