I brought my cat to this emergency vet clinic at night because she suddenly couldn't walk and was having severe difficulty breathing. It was an acute, life-threatening situation. Despite this, my cat wasn't examined immediately. First, I had to fill out a form with my personal information, payment details, and signature while my cat waited in critical condition. Only then was she briefly examined, without any real diagnosis, and I was immediately told she needed to be euthanized. No medication was administered, no stabilization was attempted, and no proper examination was performed. I refused euthanasia and left. A day later, my cat was properly examined and treated by another veterinarian (including for a thrombosis). She is still alive and is now on the road to recovery. This clearly demonstrates to me that the hasty recommendation for euthanasia at this clinic was wrong. I absolutely cannot recommend this emergency clinic. In a genuine emergency, I expect medical help—not bureaucracy and being given up without treatment.

I had an emergency with my dog while on vacation. I was able to get an appointment immediately without any hassle. My dog received a thorough and conscientious examination. The veterinarian was very friendly and empathetic. The assistants were also incredibly kind and welcoming. After receiving a course of pain medication, antibiotics, and an injection for nausea, we had a peaceful night. My dog was noticeably better the next day. Many thanks again, and I would definitely recommend this practice.

We were visiting my in-laws when our dog suddenly became very, very ill. We didn't know if she would survive the night, and there was no emergency vet service that could even be reached by phone. We checked Dr. Bruckner's answering machine several times, but even there, no immediate help for our dog was available. On Thursday at 7:30 a.m., we tried to reach the practice several more times, but since the opening hours didn't start until 8:00 a.m., it was an emergency, and we were in the immediate vicinity, we simply drove to Dr. Bruckner's practice at 8:00 a.m. We were greeted by an assistant/secretary. She was incredibly unfriendly and unempathetic; we were shocked. She told us so rudely that the vet wasn't there and that we couldn't get any help without an appointment, which we can understand in principle, and then more or less threw us out of the practice. We understand that appointments are essential, but to be treated so rudely with a dog who would have died without immediate emergency surgery, and not even to be offered help like "I'll give you the contact information for another vet" or "Can I help you?" or simply to be friendly, especially since we don't live nearby, really wouldn't have been too much to ask. I'm heavily pregnant, my husband had to carry our dog, and we didn't know where to take her. The assistant's rudeness was truly awful for us. We felt completely helpless. We can't comment on the vet herself since she wasn't there, but a practice where you're treated or received like that, and where you receive no help in an emergency, is unacceptable for someone who loves their pet. We then went to a practice in Cham, where our dog received emergency surgery immediately. The team there saw us without an appointment and recognized the emergency right away; they were all very friendly and competent. The surgery was so urgently needed; it was a close call that our dog survived. The experience with Dr. Bruckner has shocked us profoundly; we are truly stunned at how anyone could be so rude, especially since we were polite and our fear and despair were evident.

I think the practice is absolutely fantastic and I can highly recommend it. I recently switched to Dr. Bruckner. She addresses issues and questions thoroughly and gives great advice. I also think the way the practice handles the furry friends is fantastic. ☺️
