After a weekend of trying to find help for my sick cat through an odyssey of phone calls to the emergency veterinary hotline, I called Dr. Schaub's veterinary practice. My usual vet was unfortunately on vacation. We received immediate and very friendly assistance. We were able to come in and introduce our cat. Everything was perfect, and we were completely satisfied and grateful. A fantastic practice.

We are completely satisfied with our dog's care at the Schaub veterinary practice. The team is very friendly, and you immediately feel well cared for. Appointments are scheduled quickly and reliably, and even spontaneous or urgent requests are accommodated as best as possible. We especially thank Dr. Schaub and Dr. Schaub, who always provide loving and expert care for our dog. We would gladly make the 45-minute drive again.

At the end of December, my girlfriend and I unfortunately had to have our dog euthanized in an emergency. I'd like to explain the procedure a bit. We were left sitting in the waiting room for almost 20 minutes while she was in critical condition. What was striking was that the practice was empty. Afterward, we were taken to a sparsely furnished room that felt like a makeshift treatment space. Under the watchful eye of a cat sitting in a cage behind us, a disastrous medical history was taken. It's important to know that the dog wasn't a patient of the practice, so it would have been desirable to have the best possible assessment of the animal, or rather, the situation, based on information gathered from a proper discussion about previous examinations and incidents. Aside from noting her current poor condition, the vet did nothing. Even having to express that the treatment felt unprofessional in such a moment was impossible. The euthanasia procedure was cold, but ultimately, we didn't expect anything different. Finally, we were shown options for further action (burial, etc.) and received a smug look and the words, "Have a nice evening." I feel sorry for anyone who has to resort to such a veterinarian in an acute or emergency situation.
