Reviews
Dr. Andrews and her assistants are simply wonderful! We've been bringing our pets (dog and cat) to Dr. Andrews for years, now in our second generation. She is highly competent, extremely knowledgeable, and empathetic. The animals' well-being is always her top priority, and in emergencies, an appointment is arranged immediately. I would recommend her practice without hesitation!
10/10
Unfortunately, we had to take our elderly retriever to the emergency vet. Anyone who has a pet knows how unsettling it is when you can't go to your regular vet. Dr. Andrews was immediately available by phone, and we had an appointment just one hour later. The atmosphere there was very calm, relaxed, and friendly. Our "old lady" was thoroughly examined, diagnosed, and given the appropriate medication, which we then took home. A few days later, she was feeling much better and is back to her old self. Thank you so much!
It was our first visit to Dr. Andrews, and I am truly grateful for the compassionate care she provided. From the very beginning, we felt completely at ease. She took the time to explain everything calmly and clearly, even for us as newcomers to the practice. It was especially lovely how thoughtfully she included our children. The assistant was also very friendly. Even though our pet sadly didn't make it, we felt very well supported during this difficult time. We want to express our heartfelt thanks for this warmth and professionalism; we would return anytime.
Dr. Andrews, a doctor with a heart of gold, or perhaps platinum? I've been taking my furry friends to her practice for almost 20 years now, and I'm only just now getting around to writing a review. I'm actually a little embarrassed, but only a little. I remember so clearly when I received the letter from the former owner announcing the change. A new doctor. Unfortunately, or perhaps thankfully, I'm a helicopter parent when it comes to my furry friends, so I immediately had my doubts about whether this new doctor was as qualified and would be able to handle me, a "complicated" person. Dear readers, yes, she was and is absolutely perfect. She has expertise, she has patience, she has empathy, she has a great deal of patience, and Dr. Andrews lives and breathes her profession as a true calling. Always with the patient's best interests at heart. And an important aspect is that she takes her time and doesn't operate on a "rush job" approach. She comforted me when I said goodbye to my beloved Mr. Törte, and again when I said goodbye to my Mätte, and held me in her arms. Even in those moments, she is a constant, even though she herself feels like crying. Of course, the rest of the practice team is also a 1+ with a *, which I certainly don't want to leave unmentioned. The practice's decor has hardly changed in the last 40 years, which I think is great. Who needs fancy designer furnishings when it comes to the well-being and health of my furry friends? Not me. A doctor like Dr. Andrews is much more important to me. I give her 100 out of 5 possible stars, and please stay just the way you are, Dr. Andrews: a doctor with a heart of platinum. Warmly, Carola, Penny, Milagro-Corazoné, Pequeño-Rey, and from Rainbow Bridge, Mr. Törte and Mätte
