Our dog was spayed at the Stührenberg veterinary practice, and we travel 140km each way for that. For minor procedures, the drive would unfortunately be too far, but if we lived closer, I would always come. As it is, we decide to go to the Stührenberg team for any planned surgery we might ever need. I think that says it all. ❤️

We are currently treating our seriously ill cat at Dr. Stürenberg's practice and are very satisfied. Even during the initial phone call to schedule an appointment, we received friendly and helpful service. At the practice, Dr. Stürenberg, his colleagues, and the entire team dedicate ample time to the animals. They conduct thorough examinations and clearly explain the exact nature of the problem and the available treatment options. We particularly appreciate being able to accompany our pet during the examination, which helps reduce stress for the animal. We also have a second cat treated there and feel well cared for, both professionally and personally. Overall, it's a practice we are happy to recommend.

First of all: We initially contacted the practice owner in writing via email to clarify our points directly and personally. Since we received no response, we are now sharing our experience objectively in this way to inform other pet owners. During the consultation on November 28, 2025, our 4-kg dog's teeth were assessed as being in good condition – as far as could be seen – and surgery was not deemed necessary at that time. Before the surgery, we were given a sedative at reception with an initially much too high dosage, which was only corrected after we inquired about it. During the dental surgery on January 6, 2026, a total of 15 teeth were removed – without prior consultation, even though the extent of the procedure differed significantly from the initial assessment.
