Thank you so much for the emergency vet service over the weekend...my cat had to be euthanized midweek! I contacted Mr. Gabriel on Sunday...my cat hadn't eaten for five days and I told him she was in a lot of pain because of constant meowing and seemed very lethargic! However, I had an appointment with my regular vet on Monday afternoon. He just said that as long as she was drinking, everything was fine and that would be enough until Monday, but if things got worse, I could contact him again! Unfortunately, that wasn't enough!!

I first called Dr. Gabriel at 9:45 p.m. He was on call. Then I called four more times. Now it's 11:40 p.m. and no return call. 😡 What has become of professional ethics? An animal is not a living room cabinet. You should report this to the veterinary office and the veterinary association. Even if one report doesn't do much good, multiple reports will get you into trouble.

After some unpleasant experiences with our two dogs at another veterinary practice, we asked Dr. Gabriel for a second, honest opinion regarding our dog. It was the best decision we could have made. Thanks to Dr. Gabriel, we were able to spend another wonderful nine months with our dog without subjecting her to unnecessary examinations and stress. He also accompanied her and us with great love on her final journey.
