Best Care anywhere!
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this veterinary practice. The way they handled my pet seemed very distant and clearly lacked empathy. Especially when you're worried, you expect a bit more understanding. What struck me as particularly negative was an inappropriate and truly stupid comment that was completely out of place and very irritating. I don't expect that kind of behavior in a professional practice. Overall, it was a shockingly disappointing experience, and I won't be returning. The other staff members were very nice.
Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience at Dr. Burkart's veterinary practice. The staff themselves were friendly and helpful, however, the attending veterinarian was, in our opinion, completely impossible to deal with. We brought our cat in with a broken paw that was bleeding heavily. In this already stressful situation, my partner was snapped at and told to stop crying. When looking at the X-ray, the vet even remarked whether she needed glasses – completely inappropriate. The treatment seemed reluctant, and the paw wasn't bandaged until we asked. The way the animal was handled also left a bad impression. Furthermore, we had to practically drag every piece of information out of the veterinarian, making us feel more like a nuisance than a concerned pet owner. Especially in an emergency, one expects professionalism, empathy, and respectful treatment. Unfortunately, we experienced none of that with the attending veterinarian.
