After a very positive first appointment, my second visit was unfortunately a bitter disappointment. Instead of honest advice, I felt extremely pressured and made to feel insecure by the vet's attempts to instill fear. The vet was already "very sure" of her diagnosis and offered expensive diagnostics under general anesthesia as the only option. Despite my concerns, no alternatives were considered. Particularly disconcerting was the arrival of a colleague who neither knew nor examined the dog and immediately suggested that "we might as well do the teeth at the same time." I find it irresponsible to use general anesthesia so readily as an opportunity for additional services without a valid medical reason. The result: A second opinion from another veterinarian showed that the "certain" diagnosis was completely wrong. A simple blood test was sufficient to disprove the suspicion – entirely without anesthesia or unnecessary procedures. Due to this experience and the clear misdiagnosis, my trust in the practice is completely shattered. Therefore, I unfortunately cannot recommend this practice.
