Reviews
Tip-top.
The best veterinary practice for us. The staff here are competent, friendly, and caring. My beloved Luna and our new addition, Nox, are clearly very comfortable, and the animals' well-being is always the priority. Nox received excellent care and attention, so much so that he kept wanting to be on the examination table. We wholeheartedly recommend this practice.
Excellent team; the owner explained everything clearly, and we had hardly any questions left. The price for the treatment was reasonable. They offered very quick appointments with various options. We will have our Luna spayed there since it's possible. They also have their own lab, which makes the treatment more affordable. I highly recommend this practice.
Today we unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. At 5:25 p.m., we called Dr. Fauna's veterinary practice in Leuna. According to their opening hours, the practice was open until 6:00 p.m. We had an urgent emergency with a kitten. The diagnosis was already known – we simply needed a much-needed injection, as our own veterinarian had already closed. However, we were told on the phone that the practice still had patients and that we should go to Leipzig instead. The drive to Dr. Fauna's practice would have only taken us about four minutes, while the drive to Leipzig would have taken over an hour. As a prospective animal welfare organization that volunteers its time to help animals, we are very disappointed by this situation. Especially in an acute emergency, we would have expected at least brief medical care or some other solution. We will report the incident to the veterinary association for review and hope that such situations will be handled differently in the future. Based on our personal experience, we unfortunately cannot recommend this practice at this time. Our aim is not to attack anyone, but to show how important quick help can be for animals in need.
We called the emergency vet yesterday because our dog Mia wasn't feeling well. She kept arching her back, which could mean many things. We explained our problem and received very friendly and competent advice over the phone. The vet was right about the stomach pain; Mia had eaten too much snow. I would like to thank the entire team again from the bottom of my heart! 🥰
