5 stars aren't enough! Really friendly, young, and competent staff. After changing vets twice, we finally have a vet who treats animals well and knows what she's doing. Ms. Utsch asks a lot of questions, but also answers them very comprehensively and thoroughly, and immediately gets an overall impression of the animal. That's a huge plus. There's something to drink for both humans and animals in the waiting room, which I find particularly great in the summer. There are also no long waits because you make an appointment in advance. This means the waiting room is always nice and empty. At the beginning of the Christmas season, we even received a small bag of treats. After several changes, this veterinary practice is by far the best.

A fantastic practice with a great team. Dr. Utsch is a wonderful veterinarian. The appointment system is also excellent. It saves endless waiting and is less stressful for dogs and cats, as it's very quiet and you don't have to sit in a crowded waiting room. Always friendly and competent. Making an appointment is easy and straightforward by phone.

THE BACKGROUND: I called the emergency vet because my guinea pig's condition was rapidly deteriorating. The vet was friendly and arrived quickly, so no time was wasted. She performed a general examination, including taking the temperature, checking the ears, and weighing the guinea pig. Since she didn't say anything further beyond noting a slight hypothermia and recommending warming measures, I assumed everything else seemed fine. She immediately made a preliminary diagnosis and started treatment. So far, so good. When I asked about supplemental feeding, as my guinea pig was barely eating on its own, I became suspicious for the first time. The answer was that it wouldn't be necessary if the animal had eaten breakfast. I received the supplemental food anyway. I noticed that the practice specializes in acupuncture and therefore probably treats animals larger than a cat. Nevertheless, I was surprised that it seems to be unknown here that guinea pigs, due to their unique digestive system, need to eat up to 60 small meals a day, practically around the clock, to avoid a life-threatening condition. When the bill was about to be generated, the system malfunctioned. Unfortunately, I didn't receive an estimate of the costs I would incur. Furthermore, I had to ask for a summary of the treatment, which I could show my regular vet the next day. This document was handed to me folded, and only later did I realize that the "protocol" merely listed the suspected diagnosis and the three medications administered. There was no explanation for the diagnosis, no dosage of the medications, and nothing else. The next day, my regular vet discovered that my guinea pig had a very severe ear infection with foul-smelling pus extending into the outer ear. The diagnosis from the night before was therefore incorrect – unfortunately, perhaps even knowingly so, since the ears were examined and nothing was said about it. The bill from the emergency vet arrived in the mail and nearly knocked me off my chair. I've kept guinea pigs for many years, some of which have required emergency vet visits. I've never(!) had to pay so much money for a single treatment. And then there was the misdiagnosis. CONCLUSION: Dr. [Name] is certainly a nice, empathetic veterinarian who is undoubtedly very good in her field. However, she might not be the best choice for an on-call emergency service like the one I needed. I would have preferred that they had been honest about their lack of knowledge, experience, or expertise. We're all human, and nobody has to be an expert in everything. Admitting this and referring clients and patients to specialists demonstrates strength and competence and inspires trust! My regular vet was able to help my guinea pig and prevent a worse outcome. She's feeling much better now!

The best thing that ever happened to my family, our dear little dog, in terms of veterinary medicine. A high level of competence, foresight, and genuine compassion. I'm always impressed that such people still exist.
