It couldn't be worse… We went to them a week before my dog passed away because she wasn't feeling well. She received two antibiotic injections, and I was given two packets for diarrhea, which I was supposed to give her once that same evening and again the following morning (I paid over €150 for this, even though he only charged me for one injection). A week after the vet visit, she was sick again. We went straight back to him, and we had her euthanized because he said she was better and had been suffering and in pain for a very long time. He charged over €150 for the initial examination and found nothing wrong, and then a week later, suddenly he said she'd been suffering for a long time (of course, she was already 13 years old, but still, he should have been able to detect it). … Thanks a lot. I recommend anyone but him.
A very competent and empathetic veterinarian. He is also available in emergencies. The price-performance ratio is excellent. The animal's well-being is his top priority.
My personal experience with this practice and the landlord was unfortunately very negative. As a friend of a pet owner, I felt that the communication regarding her pet's prognosis did not meet her expectations. The eventual recommendation for euthanasia, as well as the resulting costs, caused her great disappointment. In addition, I had several distressing experiences related to my tenancy, which, in my understanding, has a familial connection to the practice. Among other things, I found an unannounced visit to my apartment door very intimidating. This situation made me feel considerably uncomfortable. In my apartment, I have been experiencing problems with dampness, leaky windows, and mold for some time. My complaints about these issues did not lead to a satisfactory solution. Overall, I felt neither as a friend of a pet owner nor as a tenant that I was being taken seriously enough. Based on my personal experiences, I cannot recommend this practice or the people associated with it.
In my opinion, his license should be revoked due to his character and his understanding of the law – especially his attitude of always being right, regardless of legal requirements and paragraphs.
A very good veterinarian, very competent, even in emergencies you are welcome, we were first treated by someone else but before that our dogs were afraid, since Dr. Pölzing was recommended to us, we like to go to him. A doctor who knows what he is doing and is very empathetic.
