We've been taking our dog Edda to Dr. Wirtz-Schlichting for years. It's the best veterinary practice we've ever encountered. Thank you so much for the excellent care you provide for us "dog parents" and for the superb treatment of Edda!

A very nice doctor, she took her time and explained everything to me in detail. You get the feeling that the animal's well-being is truly her top priority! It wasn't rushed like in some other practices, and my cat was even allowed to roam freely in the room (which, of course, lessens the anxiety). Plus, the price is quite reasonable, and there are no long waits. I'll never take my cats anywhere else again!

Five stars aren't enough! We've been taking our dogs to Dr. Wirtz-Schlichting for years and have had nothing but excellent experiences. We initially came to Dr. Wirtz-Schlichting with a skin problem our little dog had after being misdiagnosed by several other veterinarians. One correct diagnosis and one correct medication later, our problem was solved for good. Since then, we've exclusively used this practice and have experienced everything (minor treatments, vaccinations, surgeries, emergencies, and even euthanasia). In short: + Dr. Wirtz-Schlichting takes a lot of time to explain everything in great detail to a layperson. + Very fair prices; you only pay for what's necessary and no unnecessary additional treatments. + The animal's well-being is paramount, and everything is done to help the animal. You always receive realistic and honest answers. + If a referral to a specialist is needed, you're always referred to the right one. ... And on top of that, you always get a valuable tip regarding training and dog language. - ........ doesn't exist!! Keep it up!!!!!

I've been seeing Dr. for a few years now, first with my rabbits, now with my dog. I simply feel at ease, and with every visit, I learn something new or am listened to, expressing my own opinion. No expensive medication or "brand-name" product is pushed on me; everything is explained sensibly, documented, and we can work together to find solutions. I really appreciate that! So, even with the best will in the world, there's no need to worry about your pet here! Not even about your wallet. I'm always happy to recommend the practice with a clear conscience!

We took our cat to the vet. She was very friendly and also handled the cat very gently. He had an injury to his eye, for which he was prescribed eye drops. The vet initially mentioned that she would dispense human eye drops, as they are cheaper, but upon closer inspection of the medication, I saw that it was clearly labeled "for animals." Perhaps it was a misunderstanding, although her statement seemed quite clear to me. She also said that our cat should receive the medication every 2-3 hours, but at least 5 times a day. Out of curiosity, I always read the package insert, which stated that the medication should only be administered 3 times a day for all animal species. All of this seemed a bit odd to me.
