A long, drawn-out death... My little Bolonka was euthanized at the new Geng veterinary practice in Bad Harzburg. My dog ​​screamed so loudly that I almost stopped the procedure. I've never encountered such incompetence in 20 years of owning dogs. A young girl, who certainly wasn't a vet (that would be even worse), tried to find a vein on my dog, which obviously failed. I should have listened to my gut feeling and left the practice with my dog ​​immediately! In short: I now feel incredibly guilty for causing my pet such pain before its death; I'll never get the image out of my head. The other woman (a vet?) said that older female dogs just don't like having their veins exposed. Seriously? ... Then they called the Hahndorf veterinary practice very loudly, as if we weren't even there, asking how the printer worked so they could print out the costs for me right away. It couldn't be more disrespectful, my dead dog on the table and me standing next to it—outrageous! If Ms. Geng doesn't have the right staff for her many practices, she should downsize. I was at a clinic in Osterode where my other Bolonka was euthanized. He wasn't in pain; it went so calmly and smoothly. He truly fell asleep peacefully, unlike this botched job on my dog! I'm speechless that something like this could happen. I absolutely cannot recommend this veterinary practice!

Definitely 5 stars. I was there today with my little Romanian mixed-breed dog. She was treated with lots of love and given a thorough examination. I received all the necessary medications, painkillers, and even food, along with a detailed list of instructions on what to do. Everyone was very kind and friendly; I highly recommend them. P.S.: I also recommend pet insurance for your four-legged friend :)

The euthanasia of my pet was carried out with great sensitivity. I am also grateful that I was given plenty of time to say goodbye afterward. I would take my animals to this practice anytime ❤️
