I was actually very satisfied with Dr. HĂ€nel, but this constant change of veterinarian in the afternoon bothers me enormously. During my last visit, I was told to see a dental specialist for my cat to have tartar removed, even though the practice also performs this service. I wonder why?
I've been taking my dog ââto this practice regularly for eight years. Since my dog ââhas hypothyroidism, we're there frequently. He comes from a bad situation and barks and growls a lot. Despite the small waiting room, a stress-free solution has always been found for how we can pass the time. You just need to talk to the team beforehand. Tyson has always been treated with love and calm.
I've been taking my cat to Dr. HĂ€nelt's practice for years, and we feel very well cared for there. I can highly recommend it â regardless of which doctor you happen to encounter at the practice. I'm grateful that there's always a substitute available, because I wouldn't like the alternative of having to find a completely different practice during holidays or similar situations. So far, I've always received excellent advice â they take the time to explain things thoroughly. Even when I need to be referred because my case is beyond the practice's expertise, they've given me referrals to other specialists where I've also felt well looked after.
Of course, many pet owners always want to see the same vet. I still think it's legitimate to have someone else do it. My 11-year-old Australian Shepherd received professional care from two different vets. An inflamed cyst on her tail was treated twice, and now, six weeks later, it's much smaller and has healed well after two flushes and 14 days of antibiotics. Of course, a visit to the vet isn't always cheap, but that's more of a problem for people in Billstedt/Horn than in Blankenese. My bill was completely reasonable. The sometimes malicious comments here don't reflect what this practice truly offers and provides. All the staff are competent and friendly, and the cramped waiting room can be avoided by making an appointment. Or you can simply take your poorly socialized dog outside and wait until your name is called. Such comments from outraged dog owners speak for themselves.
Impossible, this practice had an emergency today!! Our one-year-old dog suddenly started shaking her head and vomiting. After consulting the practice, they said it was poisoning or neurological and we should come by quickly, which we did, collecting vomit. They did a standard examination (listening to the heart, taking her temperature, etc.). The result: We don't have a lab, so we can't rule out poisoning; we don't know. đ Please drive her to the clinic in Norderstedt. đĄ The bill is âŹ200. If the little one had been poisoned, she would have been dead by the time she got to Norderstedt, because this doctor cost us two hours of time plus âŹ200. Please go directly to the clinic if your pet is important to you. The clinic is more expensive, but going to this doctor beforehand costs twice as much money and time, which you don't have in an emergency. One star just so I can post it. đĄ
