I've been taking my cat to Dr. Hänelt's practice for years, and we feel very well cared for there. I can highly recommend it – regardless of which doctor you happen to encounter at the practice. I'm grateful that there's always a substitute available, because I wouldn't like the alternative of having to find a completely different practice during holidays or similar situations. So far, I've always received excellent advice – they take the time to explain things thoroughly. Even when I need to be referred because my case is beyond the practice's expertise, they've given me referrals to other specialists where I've also felt well looked after.

I brought our Yorkie to the veterinary practice after a very last-minute appointment due to an inflamed eye. I'm aware that our little terrier isn't the easiest patient, but the vet handled the examination and brief treatment brilliantly. She was very calm and took his restless nature in stride with humor. Her advice to give us eye drops instead of ointment was spot on. Now, after following her instructions for treating the eye at home, the swelling has significantly decreased. Thank you so much!

We are very happy to be taking our anxious dog to Dr. Hänelt. Even when scheduling appointments, they make sure we always get one shortly before closing time, so the waiting room is empty and it's as pleasant as possible for our dog. They are very considerate and the overall approach is excellent and professional.

I've been taking my dog to this practice regularly for eight years. Since my dog has hypothyroidism, we're there frequently. He comes from a bad situation and barks and growls a lot. Despite the small waiting room, a stress-free solution has always been found for how we can pass the time. You just need to talk to the team beforehand. Tyson has always been treated with love and calm.

I hope my cat survives. That's my initial thought. And I'll update this report once all the follow-up treatments at the new veterinary practice are complete. My cat had dental surgery at Dr. Hänelt's practice, during which 18 teeth were extracted (without consulting us). We were already suspicious that we couldn't pick him up for seven hours. On the bill, I saw that important medications hadn't been administered, medications that a veterinary cardiologist had previously recommended to the practice because my cat has a heart condition. Although the practice demonstrably received this information, and I had repeatedly pointed it out beforehand, and was repeatedly assured, "Yes, it's noted in the medical record. Yes, of course we'll take that into account during the surgery!", this information was ignored. Afterwards, the practice claimed they knew nothing about it. The medical record I requested is incomplete, and the anesthesia report revealed further horrors: My cat's respiratory rate dropped to as low as four breaths per minute at times during the anesthesia, and his heart rate also plummeted without any intervention. My cat was very ill after the surgery. A few days later, we had to go to the emergency room of the veterinary clinic and then again as an emergency case to a veterinary practice, where fluid was discovered in his lungs. The follow-up examination of his mouth revealed a shocking picture: Everything was inflamed. Two canine teeth, which hadn't been extracted but only clipped, hadn't been properly sealed, allowing food to enter. This caused massive pain and extreme inflammation, necessitating another surgery (of course, at a different practice!). My cat is 13 years old, as mentioned, has a heart condition, and is now severely weakened by three weeks of pain and numerous medications. The practice of Dr. Hänelt denies any medical malpractice and distorts the verifiable facts. Should any changes occur, I will gladly update this report. Until then, I can only strongly advise against using this practice.
