Very friendly vet and team! The office-cat running around is calm and very gentle. They have helped my cat greatly on multiple occasions, you can be sure they are interested in your pets health and not the money.

went there for emergency service to treat a bitten dog. shaving, cleaning and desinfecting the wound was done thoroughfully, all good. doctor suggested to give antibiotics due to the type of injury which i agreed on - better safe than sorry. general examination could have a been a bit more in depth in my opinion. very minor injuries were not detected, but checked on request. this is why picky me is not sure about giving more than 4.5 stars. communication in regards to what exactly is expected of the person to do could be improved - but considering the subtropical climate conditions during this night the overall atmosphere was calm and pleasant. appreciate the stylish handwritten "get well!" note on the paper bag containing the medicine. this cheered me up in the morning, nice detail. overall, i'm a satisfied with the result, even considering the hefty additional charges for night serivce, which is regulated in germany. vets are not doing "crypto", it's actual hard work. thank you. (my advice to people complaining here: try talking to actual people instead of textual complaints in post. and get a vet insurance. regards)

I took my dog, who already has a diagnosed bladder stone, to Dr. Brandner's today. Unfortunately, my dog couldn't urinate today, so I had to use the emergency clinic. The waiting room was full, almost overcrowded, and Dr. Brandner was the only one there. Whenever the phone rang, the doctor immediately ran to answer it. After waiting for two hours, it was finally my turn. I went down the hall to the examination room; the floor was smeared with blood in several places. My dog was weighed, and his temperature was taken. While this was happening, I explained what had already been diagnosed. The only thing the doctor said was, "I can admit him. I can treat him in three to four hours." I declined and ended up having to pay €150 just for taking his temperature (the treatment took about five minutes). I wouldn't recommend Dr. Brandner, as he didn't pay any attention to either my dog or me. In conclusion: I went to the Lüneburg Animal Hospital. The bladder stone was already in the urethra. I'm glad I didn't leave my dog there.

Based on my experience at this practice, the negative reviews are not only incomprehensible but simply unjustified. We brought our cat to Mr. Brandner's emergency clinic on a Sunday. We were warmly greeted by Mr. Brandner himself. Since there was no other staff present and the phone was ringing almost constantly, Mr. Brandner was quite busy. Nevertheless, the waiting time was reasonable, and he still took ample time for his patients. During the examination, Mr. Brandner exuded a calmness that made us and our cat feel very secure. Every step was explained to us, and when it turned out that we would have to leave our little patient at the clinic for inpatient treatment, the necessary treatment steps and the expected costs were explained clearly and transparently. After just two days, our little guy was back on his feet, and when we were finally able to pick him up, he was almost fitter than ever before! 😁 Mr. Brandner is experienced, empathetic, and has a very good feel for animals—we are so satisfied that we will take our two cats to this practice in the future, even though it is a bit further away than our current one. I'd like to add something to those of you who are so critical of the bill: what is the health and life of a family member worth to you? Perhaps you should have considered this beforehand? Are you aware that emergency veterinarians sacrifice their weekends or holidays for you and are entitled to a surcharge, which is why the fee schedule mandates that an emergency fee and at least double the standard rate must be charged? By the way, there's a very wide range of insurance options available for pets 😚 Best regards from Momo to the team – see you soon!
