Reviews
So unfriendly and not very helpful. I needed some paper work and tapeworm treatment to bring my dog back to England and they wasn’t interested in helping me or treating the dog and doing the paper work after telling me to sit down and 30 minutes later they said they can’t do it so Instead I went to another vets round the corner who was really helpful and got paper work and my dog sorted
10/10.
Super
I took Meilo there because he thought he had worms. She was very calm and kind to him and even asked about treats. He let her treat him without any fuss; his previous vet wasn't as gentle as Ms. Harders. My Meilo and he are very comfortable meeting new people.
Ms. Harders took excellent and caring care of my dachshund today after he had an accident while swimming. He's doing very well again. ☺️
Frequently asked questions
The practice recommends desensitization using a sound CD, which you play to the dog for weeks—starting very softly and then increasing the volume in small steps. It is important to stay calm yourself and not comfort the dog during a fearful situation, as your tone of voice reinforces the fear; praise is only given once the dog is briefly relaxed. Homeopathy, Bach flowers, or a pheromone diffuser can accompany the therapy. Start in good time before the turn of the year.
Cats get a large portion of their fluid intake from wet food and naturally tend to drink very little. Milk is not a substitute for water and is not tolerated by many cats. Place food and water bowls in separate locations, ideally in different rooms, as cats avoid water sources close to their food.
Rodents must continuously take in food so that the digestive pulp keeps moving; fermentable food such as damp grass, cabbage, or too much grain feed can trigger tympany. The animals experience severe pain in the process, and the situation can become life-threatening via the heart, circulation, and respiration, meaning you should visit a veterinary practice immediately. As a preventative measure, good hay and fresh water should always be available, and succulent feed should only be fed when in perfect condition and at the right temperature, and slowly introduced in the spring.
