Yesterday, we took our cat to Dr. Bonsemaier for an emergency appointment. We were seen quickly – despite other emergencies – and received very clear and understanding explanations. Our cat was treated with great care. The doctor exuded a caring calm, and we felt very well looked after. Even beforehand, she calmly explained over the phone what might have happened to our cat and advised us to wait a few minutes before making the trip. Unfortunately, the blade of grass stuck behind her palate wouldn't come out, so we decided to make the rather long journey (40 km). It was the right decision, and the culprit was removed under light sedation. Holly is doing very well again today 🫶 Thank you so much for the loving care and the calm demeanor! The staff were all very calm, kind, and friendly as well! Thank you 🙏🏽

The best veterinary practice in Menden and the surrounding area ♥️ The entire team is friendly, motivated, and competent in all areas. Everyone is very humane and compassionate, preferring to over-care rather than under-care ♥️ Some "human doctors" could learn a thing or two from them. Treating animals is, in my opinion, much more difficult because they can't communicate. I always feel understood and well cared for at the Hohmann veterinary practice and with the team. Or rather, my three tigers do 🐯 ♥️🙏🏻

5 stars for passionate, competent veterinarians with heart. The veterinary practice on the banks of the Hönne River saved my dog's life in an extreme emergency situation over the weekend, and I will be eternally grateful. The practice is also available for its patients at night and on weekends through its emergency service, which is incredibly helpful and reassuring in a stressful situation. The veterinarians and the entire team are very humane, warm, and show great empathy for both animals and their owners. Absolutely recommended! Thank you ♥️

This place deserves a full 5 stars for good reason. My very good friends have been taking all their animals to Dr. Hohmann for years. That's why I gladly make the long drive from Hamm, because I know my Bordeaux Mastiff is in excellent hands here. You can tell that Dr. Hohmann is a veterinarian with a passion for her work and cares with genuine compassion, as do all the other staff members at the practice. Thank you so much for everything.
