Tierarztpraxis Hötter

Doctor Hotter has taken care of our little ones for about five years and she has always been wonderful and professional. Her and her staff are very patient with with us and do their best to make sure that pet owners understand what their pets need. Sadly we're moving and we'll have to find a new doctor, but we're so happy we found a great office to care for our pups in Amberg. On another note, be sure to bring cash, as it's cash only. I've rarely ever had to pay more than 50 Euro and she makes sure to tell you the cost up front for extensive procedures so that you can schedule it at a later date if needed.

I was very satisfied. I was having trouble getting my cat into his crate. I was advised to get the crate from the practice, and lo and behold, it worked. Even in the practice, he suddenly behaved like a lamb and behaved exemplary. A very competent doctor and assistant. Thank you very much for that.

We were visiting Amberg over the Christmas holidays and suddenly became worried about our dog. The veterinary practice was on call and gave us such competent and friendly advice over the phone. The advice was helpful, allowing us to take action ourselves. Later, the vet even called again to check on our dog. I found that incredibly thoughtful, thank you so much! ❤️

She seems to like animals, but she still treated my pet rather roughly, especially when it came to administering medication, "which is absolutely necessary to keep her healthy." I wouldn't put up with that today with a healthy animal! I would advise checking reviews on other platforms as well. I had to leave my pet with her for hours just for x-rays!! even though it was already so sick. My objection was dismissed. The x-rays were so poorly done that they had to be redone at the Nuremberg veterinary clinic (subjecting my sick pet to the stress again). The veterinary clinic actually waived the cost of the x-rays. Ms. Hötter, of course, did not. Otherwise, I can only agree with "Mitty's" review.

A veterinarian who shows tireless dedication to all her patients. 🫶🏼 We visited Dr. Hötter twice for emergencies. Both times, it happened on a holiday or weekend. Dr. Hötter didn't hesitate and treated our cat immediately. The entire practice team was incredibly empathetic and caring. We felt we were in very competent hands. Therefore, we can absolutely recommend this veterinary practice to everyone!
