We have always received excellent and prompt treatment for our cats there. My cat was cared for with compassion until the very last moment and was also euthanized there. We generally recommend Dr. Mitro to anyone looking for a veterinarian. Our neighbors also take their dog there and receive excellent care!

My male rabbit was neutered by the vet in Weiden. The next day, he was very ill, lying listlessly by the radiator and not eating. Dr. Mitro was on call and was shocked because the other vet hadn't given me any pain medication. She gave my rabbit pain medication, an appetite stimulant, and recovery food, even giving me some extra to take home, as well as a warming glove for when we were out, because my rabbit had low body temperature. Later, back home, he started eating again. I am very grateful to Dr. Mitro for her loving help. I immediately realized she has a heart for animals, and I will continue to go to her practice. I am very satisfied. Thank you!

Dr. Mitro removed two of my cat's teeth. He was very ill afterward! There was no improvement in his recovery! During a follow-up visit, Dr. Mitro was bitten by my cat. She then stopped the treatment and recommended Dr. K from Amberg, saying she was a specialist in teeth and jaws. I followed her advice, and Dr. K took a new X-ray. This revealed that while the teeth had been torn off, the roots were still embedded in the jawbone! My 15-year-old cat had to undergo another operation to remove the remaining roots! After calling Dr. Mitro's office to request an explanation and a refund, I was turned away! I subsequently received a letter from Dr. Mitro in which she denied and distorted the facts. The letter also stated the following regarding Section 611 et seq. of the German Civil Code (BGB): "Since the operation constitutes a service contract, the veterinarian does not guarantee a successful outcome." Thank you for pointing this out—however, there is a difference between performing a reliable, flawless, and proper operation and leaving the roots in the poor animal's jaw after surgery, thus preemptively denying it any chance of recovery! No apology was offered, nor was there any reimbursement for the high "surgery costs"! P.S. Evidence is available in the form of X-rays!
