Lutz Nippel brings what I've been missing from most veterinarians for decades: joy in his work and a genuine desire to help. In contrast to the past, when such veterinarians were still common, Lutz is a great exception today. He also has a wealth of knowledge, the best examination options, and a wealth of experience. With him, for example, we were able to make horses that had already frequently fallen due to HSW problems fully rideable again, hand in hand with his knowledge and the trainer. He also looks for the causes of the problem instead of just treating the effects. Of course, this costs money, but it saves thousands, as it eliminates countless detours that only make life more difficult for the horse. Especially today, at a time when there are hardly any healthy, ridden horses left due to the lack of knowledge of owners and riders, Lutz is like winning the lottery for the horse. He involves the owner in the treatment process, tirelessly explaining the problem, and referring the patient to a specialist if he is unable to identify the problem on his own. Lutz Nippel is a guarantor who doesn't rush into arrogant diagnoses. And pull the wool over the owner's eyes. Despite all the expense, finding the cause ultimately saves a lot of grief and money. All I can say is...he should travel all over Germany.

Lutz Nippel is one of the best equine veterinarians in the region. His extensive expertise and tireless dedication save both horse and owner unnecessary trips to the vet. His diagnoses are always accurate and easy to understand. In the many years I've known Lutz Nippel, he has saved my horses' lives twice. Thank you so much for your outstanding work.

On the phone, I discussed my request with his veterinary assistant: just an ultrasound of my pony's left front flexor tendon. I lived about 30 km away. When he arrived, he presented himself as incredibly professional and immediately launched into a five-star luxury examination. During the procedure, I told him that my regular vet had only recommended an ultrasound, but Mr. Nippel didn't care and just continued. The bottom line was that there was nothing wrong with the flexor tendon. But! He claimed the hind legs were completely broken and needed x-rays, etc., even though the horse wasn't lame in that area. From that moment on, I had a very bad feeling about him, especially since he had shoved his own products into our hands without asking and without a proper diagnosis. After getting a second opinion last week, everything has now been cleared up! The pony is perfectly healthy; it was all a complete scam, apart from his €3000 bill.

For me, Lutz Nippel is the best equine veterinarian in the entire region. I would give him 10 stars if I could. He is very competent, personable, patient, takes his time, and his relaxed manner is very calm with my two Shetlands, which in turn rubs off on them. Despite his relaxed manner, I feel very taken seriously, which unfortunately wasn't the case with previous veterinarians. My two heartbreakers trust him, and that's why no one else but Lutz comes to the farm. It's clear that this comes at a price, but there's a lot behind such a business, and you should be aware of that if you keep horses (or animals in general).
