I switched to this practice from another veterinarian. The vets and the entire team are friendly and patient. They answer every question. We finally have a diagnosis for my cat. The way they handle the animal is excellent. I especially appreciate that they consult with a veterinary clinic if they're unsure what to do. I feel my cats are in very good hands there.

Not recommended. Greed rules this practice, and The stitching of the surgical wound was very poor, resulting in an infection for my cat. Furthermore, one of the office staff members is very bad at communicating with people. You're better off finding a different veterinarian nearby!

"Fought for Matilda – for the truth" I am writing this review based on a now legally binding court ruling. I already knew the veterinarian from her previous work and therefore consciously chose her for our dog's treatment. From the veterinarian's perspective, it was a routine procedure. Even beforehand, I had a bad feeling and mentioned it. However, I was assured that everything was fine. I was also told that the chosen anesthesia would take effect faster and be safer. During the procedure, I was surprised that the anesthesia was administered intramuscularly, even though dental work was also to be performed. When we picked up our dog after the treatment, she couldn't get up on her own. We had to carry her. I mentioned this, but was reassured and put off. I also noticed that the wounds were bleeding after the procedure, which I also brought up. After the treatment, our dog's condition deteriorated significantly. At the Giessen veterinary clinic, she was diagnosed with, among other things, shock bowel syndrome, the beginning of sepsis, and acute kidney failure. A blood clotting disorder was also diagnosed there. The clinic tried everything possible, but the following day we received the call. We were with Matilda until the very end when she finally had to be euthanized. It was only through the veterinary clinic, based on the referral slip, that I learned our dog had already been documented with bloody diarrhea by the treating veterinarian. We had not been informed of this beforehand. After obtaining several expert opinions, the court determined that the treatment was not performed according to accepted veterinary standards and therefore did not meet the required standards. Furthermore, it was stated that the cumulative effect of the treatment errors most likely led to these consequences. I repeatedly questioned the treatment and the procedures and ultimately felt compelled to pursue legal action. Over the course of the proceedings, which spanned several years, inconsistencies and statements repeatedly arose that, in my view, were not substantiated. Even though we can no longer bring our dog back, we raised our voices for Matilda. For us, the fact remains that our dog suffered considerably as a result of this treatment. A blood test, later mentioned by the veterinarian, was not offered to us beforehand. We trusted her and would have done anything to bring our Matilda home healthy. Even though we received the money from the insurance company, it doesn't feel like a victory. After all these years, it just feels empty and sad. What we have left are the pictures of her last gaze. Anyone who has seen that never forgets it. Based on this experience, we cannot recommend this veterinarian. "One star is only given here because it's technically necessary."

It was my first time there today. Everyone was very friendly and nice. We'd love to come back (the dog probably won't, but that's normal). I can definitely recommend this veterinary practice.
