Today marks exactly one month since my dog ​​JC passed away at the young age of three. This is the first time I'm speaking about it because they're trying to silence us. Throughout April, I had to watch him grow weaker and weaker each week, losing more and more weight. During that time, I was constantly at the veterinary clinic I'd trusted since the day JC came to live with me. As soon as his symptoms started, I sought help there. Week after week, I sat in the waiting room, hoping for answers. Instead, my dog ​​grew weaker and weaker. They performed ultrasounds, analyzed blood and urine samples, and even sent samples to a lab. I had to pay the high costs for appointments, some of which only lasted a few minutes, myself. In April alone, the costs for four appointments amounted to a four-figure sum, without the cause of his symptoms being found or the diagnosis that led to his death being made. What still troubles me to this day is that we were repeatedly told to come back the following week. Even when my dog ​​barely had any strength left and had lost a drastic amount of weight (12 kg), I was told to just keep observing him. It wasn't until the vet told me to simply give him rice with chicken, since he wouldn't be able to vomit up his food because of the syringe, that I sought a second opinion. There, the seriousness of the situation was immediately recognized. He was no longer allowed to go home and had to be admitted to the hospital immediately. It was there that they diagnosed him with leukemia. A diagnosis that had never been made before, despite several blood tests and lab analyses. By that point, it was already too late for any promising treatment. A few days later, my dog ​​died in my arms, on May 12, 2026. I was disappointed by the vet's reaction afterward. When I informed them by email that he had died, I didn't receive a reply from the attending vet, Dr. Linzer, but from Julia Scholz. In her message, she suggested that he might have had a tumor. Furthermore, she wrote verbatim: "His lymph nodes were swollen, and his kidney probably failed in the end." That's exactly what left me speechless. After all the examinations, appointments, and expenses, assumptions were suddenly made after his death that had either not been clearly established or ruled out during treatment. Ultimately, he suffocated in my arms due to his swollen lymph nodes. So, it was recognized, yet I was still told to simply continue feeding him rice and observe him. The fact that he had leukemia and suffocated remains unknown to the practice to this day. After my sister shared her feelings and her perspective on the events, her words were ignored. Instead, an attempt was made to have the comment removed, which we reversed on Google, which is why I'm writing this. As a long-time customer, I am disappointed. This is simply my personal experience with the practice. The veterinary assistants were friendly and compassionate, and I would like to thank them for that. But what good is friendliness if the doctors are unwilling to help and you're left without answers? Unfortunately, it was all about stalling, repeated examinations, and making money. I wouldn't wish on anyone to have to watch their beloved pet grow weaker week by week despite vet visits, only to die at home. A word of advice to everyone who has only said good things about the practice so far: I was a long-time client myself and wouldn't have said anything critical back then. However, serious problems often reveal the truth. Listen to your gut feeling, don't let them string you along, and get a second opinion early on if you don't get clear answers. I wish I had done that sooner... To new clients: Not every forced smile means good treatment; the truth only comes out when things get really serious. Rest in peace, JC ❤️

When we answered the question "Who provides medical care for your dog?" with Mr. Uwe Linzer, everyone gave us the same answer: "He can't do anything...your dog will die." Our baby, Jean Claude, died of leukemia on May 12, 2026. Mr. Linzer was never able or willing to diagnose the condition. Instead, he recommended feeding him pasta and chicken. He ran numerous blood tests but never saw or discovered anything. It's "funny" considering Jean Claude had leukemia. Mr. Linzer, you should retire and leave the work to those who want to save the lives of our beloved pets. Rest in peace, Jean Claude ❤️🕊️

I've been taking my dog ​​to this practice for several years, even before Ms. Scholz took over. The staff are very kind and empathetic, appointments are always available on short notice, and my dog ​​has always been treated very well and lovingly, even during and after surgery. Both veterinarians and the assistants are highly professional, and I feel very well cared for there. I've already recommended them to other pet owners, and they're all very happy!

We took our dog to the emergency veterinary clinic of Dr. Julia Scholz because she suddenly started limping, dragging one hind leg, and also had breathing difficulties. Although the emergency clinic was very busy and Dr. Scholz had many inquiries, she took plenty of time for us. She was very friendly and calm, and treated our dog, who was suffering from severe back pain, with great care and sensitivity. It was clear that she wanted to avoid causing her any additional pain and approached her with great patience and understanding. The examination was thorough, without any unnecessary tests or treatments. Instead, exactly what was necessary and appropriate in the situation was done – especially considering that we were about to go on vacation. Everything was explained clearly, we received comprehensive information, and we were given clear instructions on how to proceed and what should be monitored in the future. My son and I felt we were in excellent hands and can wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Julia Scholz. Thank you so much for the competent and warm care!
