We've been going to this practice for years, but since the nice vet assistant left, it's not the same. She was kind to the animals and helped out. Now you do it yourself. And when a dog is older, they don't examine everything anymore. Instead, they say if the dog doesn't recover, then only an injection will help. If they had done an ultrasound when the symptoms our dog was showing, she wouldn't have had such a major operation. If they had gone to a different vet just 5 days earlier, the infection wouldn't have been so bad. Not recommended. Animals really aren't important. Just like the other gentleman wrote about his dog and the heart attack. Unbelievable. I hope what we had to go through doesn't happen to other dog owners. We worry about every day that our little darling recovers quickly.

Every time I visit, I feel like I'm taken seriously as a dog owner and that I receive good advice. Dr. Kortes's objective, professional, and competent way of explaining the situation and presenting various options keeps me coming back.

In my hometown, people like Korte are called "a doctor from God." He is not only an incredibly warm-hearted and patient person, but also a wonderful doctor who loves and cares for our pets. He knows his job and does it perfectly: always tidy, clean, available by phone, and even comes to help on Sundays. A doctor like that is like a treasure. We are very grateful to him and happy that he exists.
